Rory and I were ski bums when we met.

It’s been a big part of our lives for a long time.  It’s something we want our kids to love.  I think they’re catching on.  On this warm Sunday after a huge snowstorm the boys made us, actually just Rory, climb up and down this hill behind our house so they could ski it for hours.  It was fun.  We all got some sun, maybe a little too much.  The boys got their wiggles out.  I got to document, the first time in 8 months.

As an intimate portrait photographer I need to be able to tell stories, no matter how small. Days like these help me with this skill. To be able to see the little details, the little quirks. The little anythings that make up the big things.
