It was a crazy busy summer.

That's why I ended up taking a 6 month break from taking self portraits.

I have a love/hate relationship with self portraits. The task feels daunting, the too-many-things-to-do-not-enough-time kind.

But once I start and I get into it I REALLY enjoy it and to be honest I don't REALLY need to do much and it REALLY doesn't take up that much time.

This is a story I've told myself over and over and it's one I desperately need to rewrite. I think the only way this can happen is by doing more self portraits.

So here are my first ones, in my new home (moving was one of the many things that kept me busy).

It felt good, great even.

I need to remember that.
